Ukyou, having nothing left, not even her honor, dedicates her whole life to revenge, Okonomiaki, and martial arts. Ranma is now sixteen. Ukyou comes to Nerima to fulfill her revenge on Genma and Ranma. Ukyou enrolls in Furinkan High school, and challenges Ranma to a duel. Ranma immediately remembers his friend, Ukyou, but he doesn't know that she is a girl, seeing as Ukyou secretly trained as a man and comes to Nerima as one. As the duel unfolds, Ranma realizes that Ukyou is a girl by accidentally grabbing her ....breasts... and Ranma ends up saying she is cute as a girl. This reels Ukyou in and now, Ranma has one more Fiancée going for his hand in marriage. Ukyou is rivals with Shampoo the moment they first meet (at the Jusenkyo Springs Race). Kodachi is her rival as well. But sometimes, Shampoo and Ukyou may team up in a plan to get Ranma. But it always falls apart and fails. Akane and Ukyou are rivals, but when they get down to the bare bone, they both know what good friends they really are. Ukyou claimed that the moment they left her crying by the side of the road, she lost her femininity (and she trains as a man, as I said before). Therefore, she sometimes dresses as a man when she attends high-school. Ukyou is the type of person who gives good advice. If she stops long enough from trying to get Ranma to be her fiancée, then Ranma and her would be great friends. The worst part is, Ranma thinks of her only of that: a friend. Ukyou heads an Okonomiaki restaurant called UCCHAN'S. Ukyou is the only character who is somewhat ... uh... not insane... <=D. Age:16 sex: Female weapon of choice: Giant Spatula main Rivals: Akane, Shampoo, Kodachi possible suitors: Ryouga, Ranma, Tsubasa, Konatsu, PantyHose Tarou ::::SUITORS:::: Ryouga: Ryouga, in my opinion is the perfect match for her. Had Ukyou stopped chasing Ranma, and saw Ryouga was there, she would fall in love, straight out. Both are lonely, and they both are chasing hopeless love. They get along pretty well in the series, and they even work well together when they team up. Ryouga travels a lot, and can provide some adventure in her life. Ukyou has the capability to adjust to his needs as well as Ryouga adapting to hers. They both have the same amount of control and they have enough room to let the other have control as well. They are both dreamers and ironically enough, most of them are the same: Not be alone, have adventure, be the best martial artist, and they both had a feeling and know what it's like to fail in getting revenge. They both believe in honor, that's for sure. Ukyou sometimes used unfair advantages, but it was rarely. A fair fight is important to both. Their principles are basically the same. Ranma: This would be a good match, but it wouldn't give Ukyou the happiness she wants. Somehow, even if they did fall in love, their relationship would end up more like buddies than lovers. Though their engagement is very legal, it doesn't seem right. Ranma is in love with Akane already (even though they refuse to say they love each other in the first place) Tsubasa: She , like she shows in the series, only works well with men who are strong, both ways: physically and at heart. She needs a man who'll occasionally take care of her, and needs her care. Tsubasa can be jealous, and can sometimes take things irrationally when misunderstandings occur. Their current relationship is not something they would want to base their relationship on. Ukyou finds him annoying rather than a lover. Konatsu: This is a good match. Though they would be good lovers, their relationship would lack the passion, Ukyou's love needs to survive. Konatsu is too mild mannered to fit Ukyou's tastes and needs. They seem better as partners than boyfriend and girlfriend. Pantyhose Tarou: This would be a slightly better than good match. Pantyhose has the strength and the passion Ukyou desires in a man. he can take care of her. BUT!!! his jealousy could result in disastrous terms. Ukyou also needs to feel that she has control. Pantyhose cannot offer that. He has too much of a tendency to use his control over others. Kuno: Kuno is a bit obsessed. There's nothing more to say. Mousse: He's the second best match next to Ryouga. Had he been in love with Ukyou instead, he would give her unconditional love. He's got the strength and the passion. He's got the dedication Ukyou wants and needs. But... Mousse seems to lack the tenacity that Ranma and Ryouga have. If they do pair up, it seems that he only follows. He hasn't the personality to lead. And Ukyou sometimes needs to let someone else take the wheel, but what'll she do when Mousse can't? |
A light-hearted Martial Artist, Ukyou Kanji comes from a family only
consisting of her father. Her mother, who seems to have dies or divorced,
has no part in her life. When she was six, her father engaged her to
Ranma, not knowing he was already engaged to Akane Tendou. At first Genma
refused to engage them, but when Ukyou's father throw's the Okonomiaki
cart in as the dowry, genma quickly accepts. Now, not able to feed all
three of them, he decides to ask his six year old son, Ranma which he
likes better: Ukyou or Okonomiaki. Being a six years old, he replies,
"OKONOMIAKI!!!". Genma, seeing as this is what his son says, he
leaves Ukyou crying by the side of the road and steals the dowry. Ranma,
being only six when this happens, has no idea what his father has
done.
