Earth slowly faded away in the distant glow of the beam. As it finally disappeared from their sight, another world came into view. Not a sight for sore eyes, but a sight that nearly tore up their hearts. The digital world came more within range, and as it did, tears began to pour out of her eyes. Destruction reigned over the world, now, with their guardians gone. The sixteen surveyed over what they knew what was once peace. Not anymore. She wiped away the tears before the others could see them. She was not going to break down. But...They might never see their families again... Now wasn't the time for foolish and selfish thoughts, both the digital and real world was in danger of merging. If it did, all chaos would be unleashed.

Just before the flash of light, Sora saw a mountain crumble, sending up a gigantic cloud of dust. Fogs of gray and black drifted back and forth between the valleys. The depressing sight served as a sign that they were now coming into the digital world, their digivices and digimon ready for battle. This would be a fight that none of them would forget. Then the bright flash came and they shielded their eyes from the blinding light. The colorful beam broke apart unexpectedly and sent all of them flying in different directions. They were so high up, that they felt the pull of gravity and began falling at a shockingly fast rate. Sora screamed. Her voice echoed inside of the protective bubble that suddenly formed around her. She got to her knees inside the small bubble and watched as she helplessly was thrown away from her friends. She placed her palms on the surface of the shield and she yelled for Tai. She knew he couldn't hear. She cried out hysterically for her friends.

Then silence overcame her and her voice no longer sounded out. She felt her throat and she tried speaking. No noise came out of her mouth. Panic became evident in her eyes. She turned her head around and she looked behind her. The ground was coming swiftly at her as she fell from the sky. She didn't know what the bubble was or how it formed around her, but she knew that the impact would surely kill her. She pounded on the wall of the bubble with her fists. It was no use. Soon, a numb feeling flooded through her arms and legs and her body just fell to the floor of the shield. She was paralyzed. She couldn't move. She could sense her consciousness fading away. Her eyes closed and darkness overcame her.
